About Ms. Jaylin Brown…

With roots in the communal city of Richmond, Virginia, Ms. Jaylin Brown’s influence is steeped in genres such as Jazz, American Folk, Rock, Blues, Soul, Gospel, and R&B. In addition to her range of experience in contemporary styles, Ms. Brown studied opera at Virginia Commonwealth University VCU, performing roles in multiple languages, placing highly in multiple competitions, and obtaining her B.A. in Music Performance in May 2020.

In recent years, you can find Ms. Jaylin Brown’s voice featured in multiple productions including Pharrell’s Voices of Fire on Netflix (2020), the title track of McKinley Dixon’s Beloved! Paradise! Jazz!, and as Julie D’Aubigny in the world premiere of Julie, Monster, a contemporary baroque opera.
